Terms and Conditions for Owners

The Terms and Conditions of Service of East Algarve Rentals establish the terms
under which the services are provided and define the rules of participation for
individuals or entities wishing to benefit from said services.
The use of East Algarve Rentals services implies acceptance of the Terms and
Conditions of Service. If you do not agree, or do not commit to using the services
provided in accordance with their respective rules, you may not use said
services.

Prices and Deadlines

  • Once the desired service package is defined by the owner, East Algarve Rentals
    will inform in writing the corresponding value;
  • When all details regarding the service to be provided are agreed upon, East Algarve Rentals will send the collaboration agreement for signature as well as the price list to be applied;
  • The collaboration agreement will indicate the agreed-upon deadline between East Algarve Rentals and the owner.

Services Provided by East Algarve Rentals

  • The services provided by East Algarve Rentals depend on the service package
    agreed upon with each owner;
  • Communication to the owner of all new confirmed bookings;
  • Whenever East Algarve Rentals receives payment for the stay from the customer, it will make the payment to the owner of their corresponding portion within a maximum period of two weeks after its conclusion;
  • East Algarve Rentals guarantees that owners can enjoy their properties whenever they wish, and they must communicate to East Algarve Rentals the dates they do not want to make available to guests.

Services Provided by the Owner

  • The services provided by the owner depend on the service package agreed upon
    with East Algarve Rentals;
  • Water, electricity, gas, maintenance expenses, condominium expenses, as well as cleaning and maintenance of pools and gardens, are always and without exception the responsibility of the owner;
  • All services that are not contracted and that are inherent to the proper functioning of the guests’ stays obtained by East Algarve Rentals are the responsibility of the owner and must be ensured by them.

Service Modification

  • Whenever the owner wishes to modify the conditions of their service agreement,
    they must communicate this in writing to East Algarve Rentals;
  • East Algarve Rentals will inform the owner if they agree to the service changes and the associated cost.

Service Cancellation

  • Service cancellation must be made in writing and can be done by both parties at any time, without compromising scheduled bookings.

Maintenance and Repairs

  • Regardless of the contracted service and the support that may be agreed upon to
    be provided by East Algarve Rentals for repair and maintenance work, the owner
    is always responsible for paying the expenses related to construction, repairs,
    and equipment replacement.

Data Protection

  • In compliance with Organic Law 15/1999, of December 13, on the Protection of
    Personal Data (“LPD”), personal data requested from owners will be stored in
    East Algarve Rentals files to provide the requested services and will be kept
    confidential, only being used for their own marketing purposes (newsletter,
    campaigns, promotions, etc.);
  • Consequently, owners can exercise their rights of access, rectification, cancellation, and opposition to their personal data at any time, being responsible for the stored data.

Legal Notice

  • Once the terms of collaboration are established, the agreed-upon terms and
    conditions are applied, meaning that the customer agrees and accepts to comply
    with the described terms and conditions.
